Journey Electrician - Commercial Solar

New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, or Vermont

$38-48 an hour

6-9-month contract (opportunity to progress into a direct-hire role)

This is a great opportunity for an experienced electrician to take a hands-on lead role on commercial solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) installations, working closely with foremen, inspectors, and clients to drive projects through to completion.

You'll be trusted to lead crews on-site and keep installations moving from groundwork through commissioning. On offer is a strong hourly rate as standard, with per diem for travel built in to reward the people who show up and deliver.

The Person:

• Licensed Journey (Journeyman) Electrician, or 8-10+ years in the electrical trades/solar industry
• Solar industry experience
• Experience with commercial solar and/or BESS installations
• OSHA10 Certified
• Immediately available for a contract role

The Role:

• Lead crews on commercial solar and BESS installations
• Lead site work, trenching, wire runs, racking, module installation, and DC/AC electrical work
• Assist with commissioning and project closeout activities
• Strong potential to transfer into a direct-hire role
