20 Years of
2005
Rise Technical was Founded in Bristol by Jeff, Ben and Mia, in a small 3-person office in Bristol, UK.
2006
With early signs of national scale, Rise was operating across all UK territories, and quickly becoming the go-to engineering recruiter of choice.
2008
The Global Financial Crisis tested the business. With resilience shown, core retained, culture protected, and long-term lessons learned.
2013
We achieved the 'Investors in People - Gold Award', recognizing our investment in people and company culture.
2015
Rise were awarded the ‘51st Fastest Growing Company in the UK’ by the Virgin Fast Track-100.
2018
Rise Launched Rise Academy - a formal, structured L&D platform for entry-level and promoted consultants.
2020
The COVID-19 pandemic posed a major test. The team was maintained, company culture preserved and Rise came out stronger.
2021
Alongside our expansion into the U.S., Canada, and Europe, we launched our Energy, Technology and Construction division.
2022
After our success in the UK, we launched our second office in London.
2023
Rise Public Sector launched with the awarding of the Crown Commercial Framework.
2024
We Opened offices in Austin and Miami, pushing deeper into the U.S. market
Rise Education was launched, bringing
Engineers into the education sector.
2025
Women at Rise, ED&I, Continuous Improvement and We Rise Together initiatives launched to strengthen Rise's cultural fabric and corporate social responsibility.
