On offer is a pivotal role managing the full mechanical design of bespoke Medium Voltage solutions, focusing on the intricate 2D elevations and detailed section views unique to MV projects. To keep you at the forefront of the field, you will benefit from a unique weekly training initiative where senior experts share specialist knowledge across both mechanical and electrical disciplines.

This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer with a specialist focus on Medium Voltage switchgear and enclosures, looking for greater technical complexity and a fast-track to management.

The Role:

• Leading the mechanical design of complex Medium Voltage switchgear, including 2D elevations and detailed section views.
• Collaborating with Electrical Engineers to manage the submittal and approval phase of new designs.
• Receiving specialist training and direct mentorship from VPs and senior leadership via weekly sessions.

The Person:

• Mechanical design experience within power distribution (switchgear or switchboards)
• Enclosure design experience with sheet metal, bolted designs, or cabinetry
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
