Are you a Continuous Improvement Specialist or an Engineer with a strong background in Lean, Six Sigma, and manufacturing, looking for the autonomy to become the site-level CI subject matter expert while having a clear pathway into corporate leadership?
This role gives you the opportunity to lead continuous improvement across a state-of-the-art facility, with the long-term progression to Corporate Continuous Improvement Leader, overseeing CI strategy across multiple sites and managing direct reports.
Now is an excellent time to join the organization as it invests in building a consistent culture of operational excellence. You will work directly with the Plant Manager and collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain, giving you exposure to multiple areas of the business and the opportunity to shape improvements at a site-wide level.
In this role, you will take ownership of Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives, identifying opportunities to reduce waste, improve yield, shorten changeover times, and eliminate process variation. You will facilitate improvement workshops, implement 5S and standard work across manufacturing lines, analyze key performance data, and ensure improvements are sustained long after projects are completed.
This role would suit an experienced Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing, or Process Engineer with a strong Lean background, looking for the autonomy to make a measurable impact on a manufacturing operation while building towards a broader corporate leadership position.
The Role:
- Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives across the manufacturing operation, driving improvements in material flow, changeover times, yield, throughput, scrap, rework, and process efficiency.
- Facilitate cross-functional improvement workshops, implement 5S, standard work, visual controls, and structured problem-solving while training employees and building a sustainable continuous improvement culture.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators including OEE, scrap, rework, throughput, and safety, using data-driven root cause analysis to identify opportunities and deliver measurable improvements.
The Candidate:
- Continuous Improvement experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment, with strong experience across Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and cost reduction.
- Experience with root cause analysis, process optimization, KPI analysis, and project sustainment, with the ability to facilitate workshops and influence teams across an organization.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required, Black Belt highly desirable, with an engineering, manufacturing, or process engineering background.
