Are you a Lead Welder looking to step up into a Supervisor position within a days-based role offering leadership training and progression to management?

On offer is a pivotal role where you will initially lead a team of five welders, with the opportunity to grow the department to more than 10 employees.

In this role, you will lead daily shop-floor activities while remaining involved in welding and fabrication. You will lay out projects from start to finish and work closely with the engineering department.

This role would suit a skilled Welder with leadership experience who wants further training, plenty of overtime and the opportunity to progress into management within the next three years.

The Role:

• Lead and develop a welding team, growing it from five to more than 10 employees.
• Complete welding and fabrication projects from initial layout through to completion.
• Work closely with engineering to meet safety, quality and production targets.

The Person:

• Strong welding and fabrication experience, ideally within an automotive environment.
• Previous supervisory, team lead or leadership experience.
• Able to read blueprints and lay out projects from start to finish.
