Are you a Controls Engineer with strong Allen Bradley, Kinetix and AutoCAD Electrical experience looking to take technical ownership of complex automated machinery?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist machine manufacturer where you will work on technically challenging automation projects and take systems from initial electrical design and programming through integration, testing and commissioning.

You will play a key role within the engineering team, developing complete controls solutions for custom automated equipment while working closely with mechanical, electrical and manufacturing teams.

The Role

• Design and develop complete electrical control systems for custom automated machinery
  * Program Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs and Kinetix servo and motion control systems from scratch
  * Produce electrical schematics, panel layouts and documentation using AutoCAD Electrical
  * Lead controls integration, troubleshooting, testing, startup and commissioning

The Candidate

• Strong Allen Bradley PLC programming experience, including ControlLogix / CompactLogix and Studio 5000
  * Strong Kinetix servo, motion control and automated machinery experience
  * Highly proficient with AutoCAD Electrical and electrical control system design
  * Able to take complete ownership of controls projects from concept through commissioning
