Are you a designer who can move fluidly between strategy and execution, mapping a patient journey one day and designing a landing page the next? Do you know how to turn healthcare complexity into simple, trustworthy experiences that make the next step feel obvious?

This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing healthcare services startup that redirects expensive, hospital-based specialty infusion therapy (for conditions like Crohn's, MS, and cancer support) into more convenient, lower-cost home or clinic settings. Through dedicated Care Guides and transparent, pass-through pricing, the company cuts employer drug spend by 40-50% while improving the patient experience. It already partners with some of the largest blue-chip employers and serves well over 1 million patients.

Now aiming to 5-10x that volume, the company is hiring its Founding Designer to define how it shows up to patients and families. Your first priority will be Member Growth, the campaigns and communications that introduce the company and earn trust quickly, but the larger mandate is the entire patient-facing experience.

If you want to define a design standard from the ground up as the company scales from 50 to 80 people this year, this is an outstanding opportunity to shape a company-wide creative system in a category where great design genuinely changes outcomes.

The Role

• Define the patient-facing design standard and own the end-to-end member journey
• Build reusable design systems and AI-assisted workflows that scale
• Design direct-response campaigns tied to conversion and trust
• Turn healthcare complexity into simple, responsible experiences
• Act as creative lead and hands-on maker, from briefs to production-ready assets

The Person

• Strong patient/customer experience judgment, from lifecycle or growth marketing
• Direct-response design experience, measured by conversion or enrollment
• Excellent visual craft, and experience building systems, not just assets
• Fluent across print, digital, and production
• High agency, low ego, comfortable with ambiguity in a regulated space
